Given the similarities between the structure of a WordPress website and the structure of a Google Website, I figured that it might be a good idea to compare them both.
Yes, they look alike, but there are key differences as well. And while doing the comparison, I had to remind myself that Google rankings are based on a very large number of factors, while rankings on the WordPress Graphics Setting Page tend to be more granular.
Use the plugins
The first thing I noticed was that the WordPress Google Ranking Measurement Plugin did not like my permalinks. It seemed that these were too long and could not exceed 2 or 3 keywords. Listing my keywords and using hyphens could not only cause the WordPress ranking to register fewer points but also create problems when people search for my keywords.
The second thing I noticed was duplicate content. Both the Google SEO Plugin and the WordPress Google Ranking Measurement plugin accepted the description and category meta tags that I had created for my homepage. However, they saw errors in the other meta tags that I did not list: keywords and description. They recognized the errors but still assigned them bogus points. They were completely useless for search purposes. I had to file several duplicate-content requests to get them to convert to correct counts.
Using of meta-tags
The keyword meta tag wasn’t structured at all like the other meta tags. There was no support for using the old “comma” operator, nor were there anywhere to use the id flag. It was hard for me to imagine that there were many pages like that.
The description meta-tag gave me only a few clues as to what Google thought my page was about. The blog that I reviewing was about handsome older men (worthy of a category), and the blog that I had to lengthen with content and focus was on intelligent conversation ( soften spots, etc.). Interestingly, the description meta tag had no mention of the words “head” “the” or “the.” My title (and this is important) had “The Tail of Fortune.” Note that first, the blog title and then the meta description meta tag had nothing to do with the web page titles and description.
From these two meta tags alone, it is clear that Google does not see these as important. But, there are more subtle indicators that Google is not as oblivious to these tags.
For example, you can visit the documentation available on the Google site to access the sc Universe program. There you can access the alt tags for images, and every image that Google has indexed on the web. It is handy to be aware of what Google sees in images when it comes to SEO.
If you are using Google Analytics, then you will be aware of this as well. Its tagline is “You’ll know where to find the best keywords to drive traffic to your site.” The tagline is also the title of the webpage. It comes in HTML format and is NOT the title of the web page you are viewing.
For the best photos go to Flickr.com. This means that you want to look at the tagline for Flickr before you click on the link. This is also why I suggest that you make a different title for every web page.
Other important things
If you use the WordPress blog, you will find that you can download plug-in code that will supply your title tag with appropriate keywords. You can then download the plug-in code. It is rather painless. All you do is just be logged in to Google, and then click on “iencies” in the left column. You can then download the plug-in code. It is pretty self-explanatory.
You can then go ahead and create a couple of these keyword laden link Exchanges. To do this, you would have to create a page that features your keywords, and links to another site with the same keywords in the hyperlinks. Then you would click on the “Publish” button, and then you would notice that every time you click on the hyperlinks on the new websites that they would re-link to your site.
You can now browse the results in the left column and click on the latest websites to go to their web pages. The first thing that you should notice is the web address of the top-ranked website. It will tell you the title of the website as well as the keywords that it is using. Now you can see that if the keyword is featured on the web page, then the web address has a good chance of being ranked in the top ten search results. Now you can see why search engine optimization is becoming more important every day.

So you’ve just acquired a spanking new domain name always try for a domain that has your keywords in it. Lately, it’s been a lot of work that you have spent the past days building blogs and posts, battling with annoying WordPress templates and odd HTML tags, but no one has visited. All your work is sitting there, but there isn’t one person who is aware you exist. This can become quite a problem especially when you are starting and trying to get indexed in Google. This can become a great problem if you are in a particularly crowded niche. You must make Google aware that your site is out there even if you are not. Well, you have found yourself a good piece of advice in this article.
So what are h1 tags? As some of you may know, ‘H1’ tags are part of the HTML language. They are known as headings and are quite simply the heading that goes between the and the body of your HTML document, or the title of the article. So will you be changing your main title to one of your h1 tags, well then that is just common sense. The reason why is that we have been trained to use HTML. It is much easier to create a tag that will help you improve SEO and at the same time help you make the design of your site much more friendly to Google. So if you can use structured data, which is a topic on its own, you can save yourself a lot of tweaking. It will also make your site much easier to make accessible to as many people as possible.
How do we use it?
It is as simple as you can use it. You can put your h1 tag below each article, where the article title is one of your keywords. For example, you have just written an article about the benefits of aloe vera flower extract, you would want to create an h1 tag for it. You can even keep the title at the end i.e. ‘H9 Aloe vera Flower’). This gives it maximum relevancy and will help you to beat the Panda.
As you are starting to make your WordPress site then you will be used to the aloe vera flower technique as that is what most of the beginners use. So you will be in danger of not creating enough backlinks to your site because it is important enough. Stay away from making your h1 tag show up more than 3 or 4 times. Keep the tags below 3 if possible. This will help minimize the number of Work at Home Search Engine optimization mistakes that you will make.
Use the WordPress HTML Validator this is a free plug-in that will help you to ensure that your WordPress pages and posts are correctly coded.
Disable inner links for example you could have a link that is under the fold. This means that the visitor is not 3 or 4 clicks away from your content. Simply put your link in a straight forward like ‘Read more about utilizing WordPress for small business’. If you continually link to off-site content than this is going to appear trustworthy to Google and the other search engines.
Statistics of your traffic
That’s all information that Google has to offer any Webmaster. It’s algorithmic, and it’s boring! No-one has 100% of the answers so, therefore the statistics will tell you where you are getting your traffic from. They will also let you know how many of your visitors came from your main keywords and products. This is a great tool, and it’s free to use.
The density of your keywords plays a big role in search engine optimization. The suggested density of keywords per page is anywhere from 3% -8% if you have a single blog post.
This makes for a roughly average blog post of 400 – 600 words. With this level of density, it’s clear that you are going to need to have a fairly long time before anyone gets to read your post.
It’s long before you hit the top 20 in Google for a search on a keyword. Keywords with four or more words have longer legs that are, in effect, more refined.
I would suggest sticking with short-tail keywords of around four to six words, but once you have built your keyword density you may have to go for long-tail keywords.
Using Google’s Keyword Tool you’ll be able to get information on what people are searching for and also how many searches are made for a certain keyword each month.
In summary, if you want to be clear about where you want to be positioned on search engine results pages, I would suggest that you start working on your WordPress SEO site. The WordPress platform has several SEO-friendly plug-ins that make onsite optimization much easier.
For me, this question comes up frequently. When I sit down to tackle a difficult SEO project, I wonder:
- How did/what were the decisions that led to my web site not ranking in Google?
- What criteria led to my web site dropped in Google rankings?
- Why does this matter?
This is an honest question. As an SEO consultant, I deal with many of the clients who have developed Into Into bound Web sites, often with other Top Words in mind like I said I would. Yet, they have chosen inadequate paths.
They seek out advice from others in the profession, yet do not have the funds to fund an independent Analytics program. They have therefore been captured by the new style of “App resubmission”.
What clients are looking for
They come to me for some clear critiques and free consultations. Fair enough. But they don’t want a heavy hand presence. They want to retain a moderating influence. Therefore, I tend to keep my distance from their commitments.
As a consultant, my responsibility is to my clients. I do not ask for revenue sharing. I don’t want to second guess my client’s returns. That’s their business. mine is to increase and maximize value.
They want good clear answers to their complex questions. I strive to give them what they want without those other consultants getting in the way.
So when my distance from them becomes evident to them, they either hire someone else who wants to be treated fairly (MP for Not Performing), or they begin to seek me out. It’s unfortunate, but this is often the case.
When you, as the client, are clear about your desire to get bang for your buck, and clearly understand the terms of your engagement, things are much more likely to fall into place than otherwise.
Often, there is a fine line between artistically appealing (to your client) and professionally appealing (for your employer). Whether or not you are equipped with the right skill sets to accomplish this, it is clear that most people struggle with the latter.
With that said, I am prepared to bet that most clients would much rather work with someone they view as a professional in their field than with someone who appears to be loaded with ‘greediness’.
That being said, some genuine SEO firms fulfill the above criteria.
How do you pick out the genuine SEO firms
Here is some help:
- First, make sure that what you want to do is communicate exactly what your verbs are. In plain English, this is what you are most looking to achieve.
- Second, think about how you are going to achieve it. Are you going to get leverage through sales? Link-building? Be a spider? Check and see?
- Third, make sure that what you are searching to do “not” cost you. What is NofollowWexpect?
- Finally, make sure that what you are planning to do “is” something you can do. (otherwise, it probably won’t happen).
When you think about all that, I am pretty sure that you can come up with about ten “exceptions” to the rule statement.
Every online marketer has a long list of items that need to be accomplished to bring his program to its completion. With the kind of information that is being thrown out in front of us all the time, it is very clear that internet marketing is essential to bring buyers and sellers together. A lot of marketers might fail to take advantage of the internet, even though there are some outstanding programs out there that might be just right for this.
Article marketing is one of the most effective programs out there that you can use to promote your site. This brings into light the variety of effective ways to promote your site without actually spending a dime. Article marketing involves writing and then submitting articles to the various search engines that are out there. In your article, you insert links back to your site, and this is the most effective SEO aspect that you can utilize.
How to find writers
You can write good quality articles, but finding writers who will submit the articles to you is a bit problematic. You can pay a very nominal price and still have problems finding writers. You can do the job yourself by reading articles on article directories available online. I suggest that you spend some of your time reading articles and then submitting articles to directories.
But the actual submitting of articles can take up a lot of your time, and this is the obvious reason why most people look for software applications that will help them with the submission of their articles. There are different programs available, and you can opt for either of them. Article auto submitters will help you in submitting your articles easily and fast. If you decide to use this type of program, make sure that you learn how to use the program well. Training can be a great investment that you make in your business.
But if you want to get hold of the most benefits possible when it comes to software applications for article marketing, you need to be savvy in choosing the best application to give you the best results. Many people might decide to use an article submitter software, but do not know how to use the software properly. Even though the program might be inexpensive, it is better to opt for reliable software and quality.
The key to success in article marketing
The key to success in article marketing is to understand how to use the software to its full potential. Once you know the way to utilize the software, you will be able to write and submit articles with just a click of a button. This, in turn, will help you create a reputation as someone who can write and ranked articles. But for you to achieve all this, you need to invest time in learning how to use the software.
However, most of the software available in the market is not designed to be a general editor. Many of the software applications being used are designed specifically to perform some specific tasks that will help you in your article marketing project. However, if you want to get maximum benefits, you need to use the software as a general editor that can perform several tasks.
Some of the tasks that you will be performing with the software will include keyword research, checking backlinks, analyzing traffic, and writing articles. Aside from that, some of the other tasks that you will be performing are not that hard to do. This will only make sure that you are getting maximum benefits.
If you are short of time and you want to get maximum benefits, you should submit articles to a lot of article directories. This is because there are thousands of different directories where you can submit articles free of charge. Aside from that, you will also be getting suitable backlinks to your website.
As to what you should avoid when it comes to article marketing, you will need to always avoid the things that should be done manually. Many software applications in the market can do these tasks for you. However, you should be very careful with these software applications.
There are different things that you should avoid when it comes to article marketing. One of these is gaining large amounts of backlinks too fast. This was once a very common mistake that people used, and they ended up resorting to link farms. Avoiding all these mistakes that can be made can be easy if you learn how others do it.
These are the fuel that will propel you to the top of the search engines.
Backlinks are a link that points back to your blog/website. The search engines gather these backlinks, and when they discover new sites that link to your site they will automatically group your website under the ‘backlinks’ category.
Gaining backlinks is the main factor for SEO and involves gathering different types of links.
Backlinks are one of the most important factors in getting ranked well by search engines, especially by Google.
The best way to get started in building backlinks is to comment on blogs that are relevant to your niche. If you have a website about Perretepot techniques then it would be good to comment on blogs about home e-commerce.
Social Bookmarking- This is getting your site listed on popular social networking sites. Sites like Digg and Stumbleupon are good examples.
On page hints optimization
Site navigation is easier for search engines to read. The search engine spiders will follow links to the internal pages and back to the homepage and index them. From there it’s simply a case of walking and pointing back to the server with the correct path.
External hints optimization
Links to other sites are vital to get indexed and listed. Inbound links are best, but it is also important to have relevant outbound links. Never exchange links with low-quality sites. Another trick is to get links from authority sites but not to link farms.
Website structure optimization
The main purpose of SEO is to get your site indexed and listed in the search engines. The search engines do this through crawlers and spiders that follow links to the different pages of your site and then incorporate them into their search engine indexes.
Many specialists use a blog Phrasefor describing the process of blogging. A few services, such as WordPress and Typepad, make blogging very easy without technical knowledge.
Once you have your blog in place and you have posted an article it’s time to promote it. Several services are designed specifically to promote your blog. Many of these services are free. If your site relates to your blog, you might want to use the services of Facebook and Twitter to increase traffic.
One of the key parts of the SEO is search engine optimization. If done effectively it helps to ensure your site will be listed in the search engines.
There are a large number of companies available to take care of SEO on your site. These companies will offer a different percentage off their service depending on the amount of traffic you enjoy.
Choosing an SEO agency
Before choosing an agency you should take the time to do some research and ask questions. Ask for portfolios and ask to see the results they have achieved for other clients. The agency should be able to give you references but don’t be afraid to ask. Ask them about the techniques they use to promote your website and ask them if they feel they are comfortable with the risks involved.
A good SEO agency should be able to bring you practical and effective solutions to boost your search engine ranking. If the agency you choose feels that you are the author of the content on your website they will be more inclined to work with you.
Search engine optimization techniques can be used in blog comments, classified advertisements, articles, press releases, and social media marketing. Each of these techniques can be used to your benefit and should not be ignored.
A search engine optimization company can also create a profile for your company. These profiles can be used to bring together your company and your customers with similar products or services. The agency will set up a link between your company and the different profiles to help ensure a continuous flow of customers from one profile to another.
If you are frustrated by a lack of traffic to your website, the search engine optimization company can help you see where else the lack of traffic is happening. They can conduct keyword research to help you figure out the words your customers are using and how to get your name out there more.
The next step will be to include those keywords in your website so that the search engines will find you and include you in the results of searches.
While you are creating your content for the website, the search engine optimization company will be creating theirs for you. You both benefit from improved rankings.
With the specialized services of a search engine optimization company, you will never have to worry about creating or choosing your website content. The company will already know what you need from them and what your website needs from you.
